Fun and easy way to learn the books of the Bible! My kids and I both loved it!

This is a great way to learn--and review--the books of the Bible. Adding groups of 3-5 names at a time is an efficient learning method. Fun game, and addictive.

Honestly, this is material that Ive always had a hard time learning. I got this for my son thinking itd be good for him but the poor guy hasnt even seen it yet. I started playing and really got hooked. A great way to teach material that is usually dry and difficult.

Very fun and cool game! I love Grannys voice! I have learned a lot even though I "broke" my hand a few times on the boards! I highly recommend this game for all ages!

Everyone loves Grandmas. They are wonderful at dishing out great advice with the sweetest of tones and surprising you with skills you never knew they had...like playing instruments, writing, or in the case of Grannys Bible Dojo, breaking boards while showing off their incredibly sharp memory after all these years. You start the game by entering your name before diving into Grannys Training Program, where youre guided through the books of the Bible in order, a section at a time. Along the way, there are eight sections with varying difficult as Granny tests your Bible book knowledge. The goal is to break the boards (this Granny knows karate!) in the correct order. Miss and the board doesnt break, but your hand gets bruised (a great way to display damage as you go along). Break your hand, and youll have to shake it off and start again. Need help along the way? Luckily, Granny is also an excellent cook and has baked up three chocolate chip fortune cookies that you can break with clues to help you along your way. The game is repetitive by design, which quickly facilitates easily memorizing the order of the books of the Bible. And each level builds on the last to ensure past knowledge isnt lost. Its a simple concept, but great effort went into the overall design and as you progress, you earn knick knacks that fill up Grannys cupboard, rewarding the quick leaner. I found the graphics in Grannys Bible Dojo to be original and fantastic, the voice work excellent and the overall concept of the game to be very engaging for an adult or a young adult. Instructions were clear and the game was challenging. Great app for my Sunday Schoolers! They love the interaction and I am very impressed with how quickly they are learning the books. I have yet to find a teaching aid, app or workbook that trains them faster.

Very disappointed because this app simply froze even after purchasing twice. Tried to contact through the developer website but only met with troubles with their email system. App looked great but didnt work at all. Bummer!

Great learning & fun. One suggestion: animate the curio cabinet prizes. I like how we can zoom in to see them, but my kids would be more motivated if the prizes did something cute, unexpected, and/or had stars swirl around them when you touch it. Thanks for making this training game!!!

This is an awesome game I found out about it by my grandma and have loved it since,its good to know that they still have some games that are worth while or that u can play on Sabbath .i think u should get it.

Even if youve learned the order of the books of the Bible, chances are you could better cement the order of some minor prophets or get faster at recalling a books position. This game is a fun way to start from scratch or brush up. Just wish it ran a little faster. On the longest rounds - whole Bible or whole OT - loading delays interrupt the game and make it harder to achieve the games time goals (at least on iPhone 3gs - maybe faster on newer devices?). I like that you can set up profiles for each child.

Ive used this apps to teach my children and Sunday School students (3rd-6th grade) the books of the Bible. They all love it!

I make my progress high then leave, then I had to start over again

The app doesnt work well on iPhone because the screen gets too small and half of the signs and words are not visible.
